ABOUT
LOSE & ASSOCIATES
Lose
& Associates, Inc. is a firm of very talented individuals.
We work with diligence, professionalism and thoroughness - with
the clients' satisfaction as our goal. Each member of the firm
is inspired in some way by the leadership of the two principals
in the firm: David O. Lose, FASLA, founder and president and Chris
Camp, ASLA, Executive Vice President. The leadership of the two
principals is characterized by an uncompromising dedication to
producing superior work and to stewardship of communities for
future generations. Each employee, regardless of discipline, is
given the guidance and empowerment to grow into project leadership
and to represent the firm individually in communicating with clients,
community officials and consulting team members.
The
firm was established in 1982 as a landscape architecture firm.
We have diversified over the years to encompass civil engineering,
land planning and architecture. During this time we have become
one of the most well known and respected firms in the Southeast.
Lose & Associates excels at distinctive, efficient and effective
design. Our multi-disciplinary approach enables us to create designs
that respect the unique characteristics of each site.
We
believe in our chosen fields, and many members are active in related
professional associations. David Lose served as a trustee of the
National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) Board of Trustees
for six years and as Chair for three. Chris Camp, is currently
serving on NRPA's National Policy Forum and is a member of NRPA's
Southern Regional Council. Our professional staff members are
active in the American Society of Landscape Architects and the
American Institute of Architects. Our civil engineers pursue expanded
accreditation such as Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) and Certified
Professional in Erosion and Sedimentation Control (CPESC).
As
a member of the U. S. Green Building Council, Lose & Associates
is dedicated to the conservation of our earth's resources. We
have studied and applied recent innovative designs for re-use
of water runoff and of energy-conserving building sites and landscape
features. Many of our professionals are LEED® certified, and
we attempt to weave green building practices into our designs.
In
short, each of us is proud to say we work at Lose & Associates,
Inc.
